This painting is impromptu. 

I was invited to a friend's house warming. And the day before attending it, I suddenly remember I didn't prepare any gift to this friend. So, since she just moved to this new house, I decided to paint her something to decorate her house. 

This idea of heart plants is inspired from some poppy flowers abstract paintings I saw previously. I like how people put few canvases together and arrange them to form a collage. 

This is my first attempt to do a collage painting. I took 2 hours to finish this painting. I would say it's very different from my other paintings because I want to paint something commercial for my friend so that it's easily acceptable compared with fine art abstracts which might some people might not like. And, second reason, I believe girls would like this kind of painting. 

The bird is cute too! I got the idea from ClipArt, but not fully copy them, I changed something. =)
