I'm always fascinated by the shapes of proteins we see generated from Rasmol software, or whatever it's called. I like how the beta-pleated sheets and the alpha-helices dangled up together to form a ball of protein. 

This painting took me more than 10 hours to finish because of the net-like structure behind the proteins which was suppose to match with the complexity of the protein. I admit it's a pain spending so much time on the nets. 

But, because of the love of protein structures, I'll definitely paint more proteins. =)
