This is the catalyst which started my passion for painting. 

This is a scene I saw in my dream a week after my grandfather passed away in 2008. In the dream I entered a jungle to look for my grandfather. The jungle was like any tropical jungle with green shrubs and trees. After I walked for roughly 30 mins, I saw this colourful tree with lots of different colours for each leaf, all bright and light colours like light yellow, light violet, baby blue, baby pink, soft green and light orange. The colour of this tree attracted my attention and I stopped and stood and studying the colours of this tree. When I stood in front of this tree, I felt very delighted, blissful and blessed. I felt my grandfather was with me. When I saw this tree in the dream, I feel blessed by him, hence the name "Blessing tree".

I want to express the feeling of family warmth, love and comfort in this painting. =)
